Blooming marvellous gifts

Flowers are a beautiful token. They can be a symbol of romantic love, like valentine’s day gifts, or just a nice way to say thank you to someone. The most important thing about giving valentine’s day flowers is knowing what your sweetie’s favorite blossom is.

For me, my favorites are snowdrops. Last year, my husband searched all over town to try and find me a bouquet, or even a plant, but was told that they’re actually pretty rare (and when you do find them, they’re pricey). I actually had no idea that this was the case – I guess I just love all things snow (the snow leopard is also my favorite animal), and these types of flowers aren’t celebrated as much.

I ended up getting a gorgeous bouquet of white valentines roses that day, tied with a white ribbon to make up for the fact that there were no snowdrops. He’d had them delivered from 1-800-Flowers. Needless to say, I loved them.
