Ever since I moved to the US I've been starting to miss my mom a lot. I've been sending her and my dad gifts and cakes on their birthdays and things like that, but sending her flowers mothers day was a nice way to let her know I was thinking of her. I tend to use 1-800-flowers because they're quite reliable.
She loves all varieties of flowers, but the most interesting thing about her floral tastes was the fact that her favorite color is in fact green. However, she's a classic roses mom, although she's partial to daffodils also. I don't really have to decide between the two though, as mothers day is on a different date in the UK than it is in the US. So she'll be getting two sets of flowers mothers day every year, now :)
